coming home

We're back on the bus. This time we're watching. The Princess and the Frog which is a fairy tale (a unit they covered 1st nine weeks) that takes place in New Orleans (where we are now). The volume is still really loud but this time the energy is much more subdued. Half the kids checked out and went with their moms so they aren't on the bus. The other half are half asleep or hypnotized by the movie. I just passed Ben the secret stash of Reeses pieces I brought to make the ride home special and he's in heaven. That 3-d movie gave me a head ache that my warm stale left-over Dr. Pepper is soothing. I'm about to eat my chocolate and zone out. When we entered the bus a group of girls and mom claimed our seat (our stuff was there and everything) which upset Ben a little but we just picked up and relocated. Let her be the bathroom monitor. She can have it! This has been such an enjoyable and exhausting adventure! Can't wait to get home.
