Knock Knock! Ben! Thomas! It's Santa! I'm here to visit you! Thomas was so excited and quick to give Santa a hug and an idea of what he wants for Christmas. Ben ran out of the room in a panick and hid in his bed under the covers. We convinced him that he could come out with the blanket on his head and hide under the couch to talk to Santa if that would make him feel better. He did this. Even after Thomas came in (at my request) and said "Ben, Santa's not scary," Ben was still nervous. Once he was hiding under the blanket behind the couch, he slowly took off the blanket and talked to Santa about what he wanted for Christmas. Then he peaked his head over the couch to take a look. Eventually he lifted his head and had a conversation. This is a very patient Santa. I just want to remind the readers that Ben is 6, and Thomas is the 4 year old. While we were in the back coaxing Ben in, Thomas hung out on the couch and sang Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer with Santa.
