SNOW DAY!!!!

We heard the rumors Wednesday afternoon. It might snow on Thursday. No one believed it would be true. I got the call at 6:15am. "Lamar county schools will be closed on Thursday." "YES!" The phone tree system at Oak Grove must have us 4 times on the list. By the fourth call I was like "I KNOW!" At 6:15, there was no snow, but after 4 phone calls and 15 minutes later, a drowsy Ben woke up and cuddled in bed with us. I said, "Ben, there's no school today because it might snow in some places in our school district" (that's me trying not to get his hopes up) Ben replied, "yeah, I know I saw it out my window." We leaped out of bed to look out the windows and sure enough in those fifteen minutes snow had begun to cover the ground. After being awake about an hour, still snowing, they got dressed and played. They were really excited then. Josh had to go to work, but not before the snow on his car made a few snow balls.
