The first trip we made to the beach, she slept through it in her carseat. The boat ride, she was not a part of, so this is her first trip to the beach. In one of the pictures of JOsh holding her, you can see she didn't quite know what to think of all that wind in her face at first. It made her eyes get real big. She eventually got used to that and kept watching her brothers dig and splash. We let her touch her feet in the sand. She didn't really notice. She was mostly interested in watching her brothers and feeling the wind. She was sooooo alert. The hardest part about taking her to the beach is keeping her from getting sandy. I thought I did a good job but the boys (very sandy) kept touching her when we got in the car. She had sand in the creases of her neck. She was mad at bath time when I had to wash it out.
