We like to take little over night no-big-deal trips for our anniversary, December 29th, 2001. Our 1st anniversary was a day trip to Mobile (Ben was an infant). Our 2nd anniversary was an overnight trip to the Liberty Bowl Game in Memphis (Ben was a toddler). I don't remember what we did for our 3rd anniversary and neither can Josh (Thomas was an infant and Ben was 2). Our 4th anniversary we went to Mobile and spent the night. That was the year we vowed to try to get away each year just for the night and enjoy some place different. The following year for our 5th anniversary, our good friends were getting married in Baton Rouge. I was a bridesmaid, and there were plenty of festivities. We spent 3 nights there (1 for the rehersal, 1 for the wedding and 1 for just us to go on a date) That is when we decided that we should visit a different city for each anniversary and play tourist, looking at things like plantation homes and museums of art. (boring stuff that we for some reason love to do once a year) Last year, we skipped the anniversary trip and went to Disney World. Now you are all caught up to our 7th anniversary.... drum roll.... Natchez, Mississippi.
