Audobon Zoo in New Orleans, an annual church nursery trip. The church gets a bus (with a bathroom) and fills it with children under the age of 4 and their families! This year we got matching tee shirts. When I asked Josh if he wanted to bring an extra shirt in case he was the only dad wearing the shirt he said, "No, I'm man enough to wear this peach/orange shirt with cutsie baby animals on it. And if Wes isn't wearing his, he's going down." Lots of dads wore their shirts. It was a beautiful day. The boys were a little less intense with their excitement than before because they're old enough to remember stuff that we did a year ago (with amazing clarity--Ben remembers everything!) But we discovered stuff we missed last year. Like baby alligators, sea lions, snow cones, guinea pig petting, nutrea rats!!!! YUCK!
