Changes Changes

I am changing jobs and school has wrapped up for the summer and I can't be happier. Just a little too busy to update a blog. The last weeks of school are packed with activities. One of which is water day. Where was water day when I was in school? That would have been fun! Both boys had water day. Ben was snack helper on that day which meant that he got to help pass out the snacks that he (really his mother) brought for the class. Also he got to stand first in line, which is very important to a boy--very. So half way through festivities (which include a sprinkler and a slip-n-slide), the bells ring--fire drill! So not only did Ben get to pass out cookies, but he also got to stand in line first in his dripping wet swim suit as we all evacuated the campus. It was fun. Later, I made a quick dash to Thomas' school where they had a gianormous inflatable water slide for their water day. It's funny to see the mixed reactions to water slides in 3 years olds. There's terror, joy, apprehension, excitment...Then there's mud. Lots of mud. At least there wasn't a fire alarm.
