The cake was so delicious. I didn't make it. Pastry Garden did. It was chocolate with chocolate butter-cream frosting and a marzipan (?) batman logo that was quite impressive. Sandwiched between the two chocolate cake layers was a ganosh (guh nosh) layer. I think that is what everybody said it was called. It was so good. It was like a fudge-cake wonderful dream. I went to walmart and bought the batman cake topper kit and stuck him on there because that is all Ben really wanted on the cake--"batman-the whole one." I think he meant the whole man as opposed to just his head.
