Halloween fun

We didn't take any pictures this Halloween, but we had lots of fun. We went to a small church fall festival at around 5:00. Ben wore his dinosaur costume from last year which still fit him. He really got a kick out of it this year. We put Thomas in a lion outfit, but it was too warm for him to keep it on long.
After the fun there, we took Ben to McDonalds for dinner. He was the only dinosaur in the playground, but there was a cowboys and a skelleton. One little boy kept pulling at Ben's tail and calling him "Hey dinosaur! Come play with me."
After McDonalds we were invited to a get-together at a friend's house to let the kids play and visit. By then it was 8:00 but Ben was still going strong. Ben played with 3 other little girls his age very well. We didn't have any temper tantrums or anything. At the house we were visiting, they had a play room set up that kept them entertained while the adults visited. It was nice. It turns out it wasn't the toys that were doing the entertaining. After checking on the kids, I discovered the trick or treat bucket of candy found its way to the playroom and the kids were helping themselves! There were empty wrappers all over that room and 4 VERY happy 2 year olds. By 11:00 we got hom with a worn out Ben who went straight to bed (after a THOROUGH teeth-brushing of course). Thomas had slept through most of the excitement as usual.
